I started The Last Days; the sequel to Peeps on 5 /6/09. As you may have noticed, I seek to find books that catch my eye. Yes, I know that they always say don’t judge a book by its cover, but I have so much to read, so why not pick the book that has the most interesting cover, it is the first thing you see. First Impressions. So, anyways on with the book, an epidemic has a city in chaos. Black oil coming out of fire hydrants, rats taking over Brooklyn, and more and more people going missing every day. All that matters to Pearl, Moz, and Zahler though is their new band. Then, a vampire lead singer joins them, and a drummer whose fractured mind can glimpse the coming darkness.
